Method Patientswith ICD^10 schizophrenia-spectrumdisorders (first episode) were randomly assigned to integrated treatmentor to standard treatment.Integrated treatmentconsisted of assertive community treatment, psychoeducationalmulti-familygroups and social skills training.Keyrelativeswere assessedwiththe Social Behaviour Assessment Schedule (SBAS, burden of illness), the 5-minspeechsample (EE), and amultiple choice questionnaire atentry and after1year.
